Mel Wirth

My name is Mel Wirth and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island and Connecticut. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work from Rhode Island College. I also received a Certification in Graduate Studies in Child/Adolescent trauma. I have a diverse background in providing one-on-one therapy to children and adults. I also have experience in providing one-on-one therapy to children who are victims of sexual assault.

My modalities of treatment consist of client-centered treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed therapy, and motivational interviewing. Outside of work, I enjoy time with my two boys, friends, and family, CrossFit, hockey, softball, and riding my Harley.
