Madelyn's preferred age groups include adolescents, young adults, middle-aged individuals, and elders. She’s here to help with a variety of specialties such as anxiety, PTSD, LGBTQA+ issues, gender-affirming care, dissociative experiences, immigration challenges, body image, disordered eating, self-esteem, grief, ADHD, ASD, and relationships. Her areas of focus revolve around decolonization, immigrant rights, gender-affirming care, and social justice. As a cisgender woman who identifies as queer, she bring a unique lived experience and a commitment to cultural humility and anti-racism. She utilizes various therapeutic approaches including CBT, AEDP, IFS, breathwork, somatic therapy, expressive arts, and EMDR to support healing journeys.
Madelyn's therapy style is warm, direct, integrative, and holistic. She prioritizes building a genuine and open rapport with clients, emphasizing authenticity and trust as essential for effective therapy. This approach nurtures trust and comfort, which are critical components of successful healing. Her main objective is to help clients attain overall wellness, healing, and a sense of completeness.

She integrates psychodynamic, humanistic, and solution-focused counseling techniques to customize her method for each client's specific needs. Additionally, she is trained in EMDR and possesses advanced training in addressing Disordered Eating and Body Image issues.
