ABOUT ME

Felicia is a highly qualified mental health professional with expertise in clinical social work and therapy. She has over 20 years of experience in the field of social work and case management. She currently holds a Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) license. She obtained her Master of Social Work (MSW), Master of Science (Clinical Mental Health Counseling), and Specialist in Education (Psychometry Ed.S.) Degrees from Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi.

Felicia has experience and passion for working with individuals who are experiencing grief, specifically providing grief counseling and assisting families find support groups and other resources to help them cope with the dying process. She also possesses experience with working with adults with mental health and autism diagnoses specifically developing plans and supports to help the individuals to become independent and reach their full potential, and is also very passionate about working with at-risk youth and families, specifically providing resources to youth and families and in-home visits to support and enhance the health and development of essential life skills in young adults while addressing any trauma they may have experienced. Felicia’s commitment to helping individuals who have been marginalized and excluded highlights her dedication to inclusivity and social justice.

Felicia has substantial experience working with various mental health diagnoses such as Bipolar disorder, ODD, ADHD, IED, Autism, Asperger, Anger, Drug and Alcohol Addiction, Depression, and Anxiety. She utilizes a range of therapeutic modalities to assist her clients, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Drug and Addiction Recovery, Aggression Replacement Training (ART), and Strength-Based Therapy.
