ABOUT ME
Emily serves a diverse array of individuals aged 5 to 40, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She specializes in addiction (including pornography, alcohol, and opioids), LGBTQ+ support, body dysmorphia, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence (ADHD and ASD). Her work also addresses polyamory, non-monogamy, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, gender identity, gender dysmorphia, and EUPHORIA with a focus on gender-affirmative care, chronic illness, pain management, autoimmune disorders, and grief.
Emily raises awareness about neurodivergence and justice while advocating for gender-affirmative care, positioning herself as an ally to sex workers and the vegan community while respecting Indigenous healing practices. Identifying as bisexual, LGBT+, cisgender, first-generation Italian, woman, femme, and neurodivergent, she holds cultural insights from American, Italian, Middle-Eastern, Latina/Latine, and African American/Black communities, including immigrant perspectives.
Emily employs various therapeutic approaches, including person-centered therapy, CBT, ACT, humanistic methods, positive psychology, culturally responsive practices, autistic and neurodivergent-affirming therapy, play therapy, trauma-informed care, feminist therapy, the Gottman Method, and motivational interviewing for addiction.
Throughout her internship, she is under the supervision of Kayley Harrington, LICSW (She/Her).
