About Delilah
I'm a dedicated and compassionate therapist who helps people move through life’s most overwhelming challenges, whether it’s anxiety, trauma, grief, addiction, or navigating identity. My goal is to help you find your voice, reconnect with your values, and build the resilience to thrive.
I work with teens, adults, elders, and families from all walks of life, including those navigating gender identity, ADHD, neurodivergence, PTSD, spiritual trauma, or the stress of caregiving and activism. I also offer affirming care for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ folx, sex workers, and those in non-traditional relationship structures.
My approach blends lived experience with evidence-based tools, including ACT, CBT, DBT, somatic and narrative therapy, mindfulness, family systems, and culturally responsive care. I draw strength from my African American and Canadian heritage, and I strive to hold space that’s healing, affirming, and rooted in cultural understanding.
In our work together, you can expect a collaborative space where you’re supported, not judged. I’m here to co-create goals with you, honour your pace, and walk alongside you in your journey of growth, healing, and self-discovery.

Why I Do This Work
“I do this work because I’ve seen how powerful it is when culture, language, and lived experience are honored. I care deeply about creating spaces where folx feel safe, respected, and allowed to show up as their full selves, especially when that hasn’t always been possible.”
- Natashia Bobitt
My Approach in Practice
In our sessions, I start by creating a space that feels safe, grounded, and free of judgment. I may invite you to pause and check in with what’s coming up in your body, any tension, emotion, or even stillness. From there, we might explore deeper themes through conversation, creative expression, or body-based techniques depending on what resonates for you.
I often draw from Internal Family Systems, narrative therapy, or mindfulness to help you meet different parts of yourself with curiosity and care. Some sessions may involve art-making, breathwork, or somatic grounding practices. Others may focus on unpacking relationships, identity, or survival responses shaped by your lived experience.
My goal is to co-create a space that honors your wisdom, where you're supported to explore, heal, and grow at your own pace. Whether you show up with clarity or uncertainty, all parts of you are welcome here.
What Clients Often Come to Me For
Many of the folx I work with arrive in moments of transition, grief, or disconnection. This might be disconnection from themselves, their relationships, or the world around them. You might be:
Reclaiming your sense of self
After years of silencing or shapeshifting to survive, whether through trauma, cultural displacement, or systemic harm
Trying to find steadiness
In the chaos of life shifts, caregiving, or burnout, and wanting routines that feel nourishing instead of numbing
Feeling fragmented or checked out
Needing support in reconnecting with your body, your boundaries, and your needs
Navigating complex relationships
With food, with family, or with your identity, and wondering if a different kind of compassion is possible
Carrying stories shaped by intergenerational trauma, neurodivergence, or oppression
Seeking a space where nothing has to be explained away
No matter how you enter this space, our work will centre your truth. Together, we will slow down, listen deeply, and build a path that honors the fullness of your lived experience.
